What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Financial arrangements offering extended terms are also available. Our financial counselors are experts in making excellent dental care affordable and a perfect fit for almost every budget.

Will you file a claim with my insurance company, or is that my responsibility?

As a service to our patients, we will handle the filing of your insurance claims. Patients are responsible for their estimated portions at time of service, unless financial arrangements have been previously made. Our dental practice accepts all PPO dental plans, however, we are not in-network with any dental insurance.

How are emergencies handled after hours? Is there another doctor that sometimes takes call or covers for my doctor?

If you are a patient of record or have an after hours emergency, call 713-797-0846. Our 24 hour answering service will page your doctor for immediate assistance. If your dentist is not available, another DDS Associates doctor will respond. We cover our patients' unexpected dental needs 365 days a year!

Do you have a wheelchair to help me from my car to the office or vice versa?

Wheelchairs are available for those needing assistance to our office. Attendants at the valet parking stand on the Main Street entrance will park for you and provide a wheelchair. We will help you return to your car after the appointment.

Is there anyone in the office who is bilingual or multilingual? If so, what languages are spoken?

Dr. Jorge Quirch is fluent in Spanish, and we have several other staff members who speak Spanish. The Methodist Hospital provides International Services for patients who speak languages from other countries.

What is the age range of the patients you see?

Our practice focuses primarily on adult patients. We are happy to provide referrals to pediatric dentists for patients under 15 years of age.

Are you seeing new patients? How soon can I be seen?

We are always happy to see new patients! To ensure an accurate diagnosis and thorough treatment, all new patients are scheduled for a comprehensive oral examination, including the necessary x-rays and other diagnostic records.

Where should I park?

A self-park garage is conveniently attached to Smith Tower. Valet parking is also available for those desiring or in need of this service. Smith Tower Garage may be accessed from either Fannin or Main Street.

Do I need money to park? If so, how much?

Parking fees in Smith Tower Garage are as follows:
Self Park: $3 for the first 30 min. and $1 each additional 30 min. up to $11 max
Valet: $6 for the first 0-2 hours, max $13

Do you have a nurse on call, if I have questions after I leave?

We are always available to answer our patient's concerns. Just call 713-797-0846, and the appropriate staff person will be happy to answer any questions.
